When to use Astrology?

On the question of when or how to use Astrology?  

It depends on how much and how deep you want to dig, Astrology can be used for just about anything. I use it as a tool, an amazing tool that can confirm, guide or teach you how to find your best You and best Life.

Self-knowledge is the key to a better life. Having your natal blueprint drawn up can tell you who you are, how to handle your emotions according to your Moon’s sign and house placement. That principle counts for all your planets and houses. It carries the promise of your life. If you know it, you can work with it, not against it. It is liberating and empowering to have the information. The natal chart is a stagnant chart, a picture of the heavens at the moment of your birth.

Then we have the transiting/moving planets of today, influencing you and activating the expression of your natal chart, whether you know it or not.

It is fabulous to know Mercury is retrograde at the moment, so that we can make extra certain the email reached it’s destination, but it is more beneficial to know where Mercury has gone retrograde on your personal chart. That is information that can add value to your life. For example, if Mercury is in your 9^th house of travel, I would be sure to check my vehicle before I leave, or make sure that I communicate my plans well with everyone involved to minimise misunderstandings.

Knowing in what sign and phase the Moon is, is wonderful and yes, we all know you plant with the New Moon and harvest with the full Moon, valuable information to have. If that full Moon is in your 7^th house and you know it, then you can be extra careful with your emotions and how you address your partner, which is signified by the 7^th house.

The planets have an effect on us, a fact that we cannot deny anymore. They also have effects on each other, how close they are, in what sign they are etc.

If you can prevent it, do not have an operation while Mercury is retrograde, you might have to go back and have it repeated when Mercury goes direct… but honestly, it is not always possible to have those ducks in a row.

When a client asks me to check if it is a good time to marry, buy, sign, leave, plant or whatever, I check, give them the best advice I can get from the planets and their charts. And then I tell them to be awake and to trust their inner Voice.

E.g. “Is it a good idea to buy this house, I need to sign tonight?”

Answer: “Mercury is retrograde and the Moon is at 28 degrees of a sign, No, do not sign… the sale will not go through”

Astrology is a serious tool to me. I use it to help people find their strong points, to deal with their shadows and to grow and be happy.

Yes, I can tell you all sorts, from is it a good day to go for a massage? up to will you have children? or how long will you live? What type of illnesses will you get? Will you be rich?

But, it is such a powerful tool to use for so much more than that. Besides, we all have the Voice within, maybe we must listen carefully and trust our instincts for the mundane.
